When am I charged for my order?
You are charged when the payment is successfully completed at checkout. In other words, placing items in the cart does not reserve them, and starting checkout does not count as payment. The order becomes real only when the payment goes through. If something interrupts the payment flow, the order may remain incomplete or may not exist at all, even if you reached part of the checkout process. If you are unsure whether payment actually worked, the first things to check are your confirmation email, your payment provider, and whether you received a proper order confirmation.
