Is the MC-60 Drive meant to be used or just displayed?

Both readings are valid, and that is exactly what makes it work. It is a functional USB flash drive, so it is meant to be used. But it is also clearly designed as an object with visual presence, retro appeal, and gift value. Like many NOW IN TIME products, it makes more sense when you stop forcing a hard separation between utility and display object.
