Do you use original donor cartridges or newly made shells?

Depending on the specific product and on material availability, we may use vintage donor parts, repurposed components, or newly made shells, or even a mix of approaches. Some projects may involve repurposed or donor-based elements, while others may rely on newly made shells or newer components, where that makes more sense. The important point is that NOW IN TIME is not pretending that everything comes from a single industrial supply chain with identical inputs forever. Material reality is part of the process. What matters is the final object: that it is coherent with the spirit of the project, structurally sound, and honestly presented for what it is. If a buyer needs to know exactly what kind of shell or component approach applies to a specific item, that is a fair thing to ask before ordering. Small cosmetic differences can happen, especially when vintage parts are involved.
